Liam finished the last of his business in the bar, and left, some days ago. He won't be back. The Fawkes brothers are gone too, not to return.

All there is to show they were here, now, is a black guitar-shaped stone at the edge of the forest, and the grave it guards. It only has a few simple words.

Geran's the one writing the specials today from up on his father's shoulders. The little tyke's taken to language like breathing and Garion's the first to encourage him considering his own long wait for literacy. Thus, the specials are a little scrawled, but hopefully the bright blue-eyed smile makes up for it.
